Student Welfare
Student welfare is at the heart of everything we do. We have a range of policies and procedures in place that ensure that our students are safe and happy. Several of these policies set out expectations about the highest standards of behaviour.
This means everyone feels safe and can learn, this includes positive learning behaviour around the academy and in lessons.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the welfare of your own son/daughter please initially contact your son or daughter's tutor. If you have a safeguarding concern then please refer to our Safeguarding page. This includes information about how to contact our designated safeguarding leaders.
Excellent attendance is a basic expectation. The expectation is that students attend every day unless they are unwell, in which case parents or carers are expected to contact the Academy before 9am on each morning of absence.
The documents downloadable below may be useful to you in finding out more about how we prioritise and protect the welfare of our students. Please note that posters detailing our first aiders are displayed around the academy, including the location of first aid boxes.
