Hydra Suite with British Transport Police

Yesterday we took seventeen of our year 11 students to the Hydra Suite in West Kensington - it was a fantastic education for us all!

Our students learnt all about Hydra, which is an advanced piece of technology designed to train police officers in specific skills and enhance their understanding of the law across various policing scenarios. Our students were presented with a mix of video clips, audio segments, and written tasks to complete.

They then took on the role of Police Inspectors and were asked to prioritise cases. The discussions and debates that took place to justify their decisions were incredibly invigorating!

It was an amazing opportunity for our students to experience the weight of making critical, life-altering decisions while gaining insights into policing.

Thank you to the team at Hydra Suite West Kensington for such a memorable day.
